Allegheny County Communications
Southwest Dispatch System Frequencies
Most
public safety in the South Hills of Pittsburgh (Bridgeville, Carnegie,
Collier, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Greentree, Heidelberg, South Fayette,
Scott Township) are dispatched by Allegheny County Communications'
South Hills radio system, previously known as Southwest Dispatch. (They
also operate several other systems including what was once NEWCOM in the North
Hills.)

- Frequencies marked as "Unknown" are mutual aid (fire channels or
channels for other police departments) or private frequencies for
individual police departments.
If there's a
major incident (pursuit, large-scale disaster) traffic on F1 will
usually be moved to F2 or F3, with this frequency reserved for priority
traffic.
(Thanks to Frank (K3FSS) for contributing the PL for F13.)

- F9 and F10 are marked as "Blank" on the official County frequency
list - I'm not sure if they're supposed to be programmed locally, or if
they're just unused.
